Database - Error Saving Form

Postby waldominny » Fri Sep 04, 2009 9:30 am

I installed 1.3.0 and everything seemed fine. But I get a "Error Saving Form" message whenever I try to create and save a form. I noticed that there are no CK tables in my database. It seems that the installation didn't create them and didn't give any errors.
I installed com_ckforms-b2.zip

I had a look at the install.ckforms.php and noticed that the intall.sql isn't called. Maybe it is called somewhere elese but when I ran the SQL script directly on my DB, I got an error about the DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8; for each table

I now have it running and I can Save a form and display the form. But when I go back to Components->CK Forms, my forms that I have created isn't displayed. I can see the form in the DB, the record for the form is there but it is not listed to be edited.

Hi,

The most probable reason you are not seeing the forms is the way you had to install CK Forms. I don't know why it failed to install the normal way.

Try this:
- Uninstall CK Forms
- Clear the browser page
- Re-install the three packages from the download page.

Regards,
Allan.

Hi,

You can send me the backup of your form (backup with CKForm admin) to contact address (info@cookex) and I'll analyse the problem.

Thanks
