Strange Problem with IE

I have a site that has several forms on it. When accessed with FF on Mac the forms work beautifully. When on windows XP IE7 sometimes when the submit button is clicked get an immediate time out error. If I click the reload button from the timed out window the form is then processed. It is not an every time, but intermittent. With Fire Fox on XP I don't have the problem. However I don't really think it is a problem with CK Forms because I tried some other form components and got the same behavior. But I do need to get to the root of it. Has anyone else ran into this problem?
