Error Message

Postby snobbis » Mon Oct 26, 2009 8:41 am

Hi
i've installed CKF 133 and the form is not shown - but I receive the following error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/innovart/public_html/components/com_ckforms/views/ckforms/view.html.php on line 36

Also after having de- and reinstalled, same error message. During the second installation I've also installed the joomfish.zip and couldn't be installed due to "missing XML-Setupfile".

Has this missing xml-setupfile something to do with above mentioned error message?

CKForm 133 has been downloaded from Joomlaos.de.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi, no ... actually not. I've just seen this morning that there exist an official CK Forms-Website with the downloads. I've already downloaded the files and will install them this evening.
I've first tried to solve the problem without de- and reinstall.
Many thanks

Just one question ... I want to link the form in my main-navi (that is positioned as user3).
How can I do this .. because today the form appears in the left-navigation-bar or above the main-navigation (if also as user3 defined) ... see www.innovarte.com

Ok,

first of all, seems you don't have the last release for the module CKForms.

To link the CKForms to main nav menu, you have to go in Joomla Backend, open the menu in witch you want to add a link to the form. Add a new entry with CKForms as Menu Item Type.

For more info see the documentation of CKForms :
