[SOLVED] Failed to upgrade from bx to b4 using the patch

Hi!

I am new to your extension, but the first impression was really good until..
I was trying to upgrade from b3 to b4 using the patch grom the Download section, but the Joomla installer gave me smth like "XML specification file was not found". (Sorry for not recalling that message exactly).

Was I doing anything wrong?

Finally what I did was unistalling CK forms, downloading all files once again and installing the new build. But that means losing existing forms and all the data. That is, the ability to upgrade softly really matters. Does anyone had the same problem?

You can't use the Joomla installer for the patch. Just unpack the patch and ftp the files to your Joomla directory.
