Custom error text

Custom error text does not work in version 1.3.4 Old version worked properly.

I'm seeing the same issue after upgrading 1.3.3 to 1.3.4.

As an example - I created an email field & put 'Field is required - please enter a valid email...' into the Custom Error Text field. Now instead of my custom text, I'm getting the following:

This field is required.
The length is incorrect, it must be at least 7
Please enter a valid email:
E.g.

indeed, same here. But it also mix translated error message with default English text.

I 've updated the translation file, so that can't be the problem I think. Any idea?

Dit veld is verplicht. -> Dutch: Field is mandatory
Please enter a valid integer.
The value must be between 0 and 1

Same here, I added a lot of custom error text to the fields, but they do not show in my form (after the upgrade)

I'm new to the forum but it's disappointing to see three or more posts about a problem and no moderator replying to the problems!!!!! This low level of forum support gives joomla extensions a bad name!

i have the same problem on 1.3.5 build 1 version

custom error text displays the default "This field is required." message and not the text entered in the backend custom error text fields.

any ideas?

Return to version 1.3.3? Have other solution? Have new version?
