Problem for Joomla-n00b :)

Postby hansen86 » Tue Jul 13, 2010 12:14 pm

Hi,

I am totally new in Joomla, but I am trying my best.
I have just installed this great module, but I can make it work.

I simply miss a submit or send button.

How to do it?
http://www.party-event.dk/index.php?opt ... &Itemid=58 this is the form

There are many ways to make the form appear on your website. I'll describe the most basic.

Let's start with a new form:

1. Click on CK FORMS under the Components menu. Select "NEW".
2. Type in a name for your form. Click on EMAIL tab and enter your email address. Click "SAVE"
3. Open the form again and click FIELDS (way up in the upper right). Click "NEW". Add your fields (be sure the last field is a "submit" button). Click Save.

Now let's make a way to navigate to the form:

1. Click on your MAIN MENU underneath the MENUS menu
2. Click on "NEW". Select CKForms >> Standard CKForms CSS Layout.
3. Enter in a "NAME" (e.g. Contact Us), Publish and click "SAVE"

Hope this helps.

in your CKForms component, select the fields link to the fields in your form. When you have the list of fields in front of you, click the "New" button. On the next page that opens give your new field a name and a label (EG SUBMIT) and from the "Type" list selection box choose "Button", and then from the list selection box below that, choose "Submit". Save your new field

Provided your email parameters have been set, you should now be able to have forms submitted from your website

Hope this helps
