[Solved] Validation ie 6

Postby rogier » Fri Sep 04, 2009 12:03 pm

Hi there,

Users are able to send empty forms when they are using IE6.x as a browser. CKforms doesn't seem to validate in IE6. I found the following solution on the joomla extention forum:

change code in the component from
jquery.validate.pack.js

to

jquery.validate.js

Before i do this i would like to know if this modification will affect other funtions in CKForms?

If there is another solution (i.e. not a hack) please let me know.

Hi,

Could you install the patch attached to the post.
You have to unzip the content of the zip to the joomla structure.

Tell me the result.

Thanks

Pierre

Hi,

try the new release (1.3.2) : http://ckforms.cookex.eu/download.php
Don't forget to backup your CKForms data (see manual).

Ok,

give me the template name you use to try to understand.
I tried with Joomla template and with Safari, firefox, opera, chrome, ie8,ie7 and ie6 and the component works.

Thanks
