CKforms = Abandonware? Plus: Bug in Captcha-Validation

Dear Developers,

since downloading and installing CKforms I have issued a couple of bug reports and questions, none of which have been addressed by the developer. Browsing this forum it seems that a lot of other users experience the same.

Having some basic understanding of PHP, I was able to fix a few bugs myself, mostly related to tooltips not displaying, wrong validation and missing functions (example: check the admin box for the CKforms module to not display the form title - it will still show because there is no "if" clause/check for that admin setting in the CKforms module code).

Is CKforms abandoned and no longer supported? Are bugs no longer being fixed? Then I suggest you withdraw the extension from the JED.

In case you actually do still support the extension, I have found the following problem: When using the CAPTCHA function and entering a error message, this error message only gets displayed when the Captcha is left empty. If the entered input does not match the Captcha, the error is not shown, instead the forms reploads without any error or info message. This is confusing to users, I suggest that the error message gets displayed also on input mismatch.

Best regards,
Sebastian
