Horrible solution to the dissapearing tool tip issue

some of us find that that ? circles in fields appear fine in modules, but disappear when the form is put into an article... I worked hours trying to fix this and the only solution I'v found thus far is too give each text field it's own class then add...

background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position:right;

to each item individually, yeah it sucks...but it works.

Even implementing the above I am not getting tool tips to work correctly.

My main concern is that the icon is displaying within the text entry fields I have on my forms, rather than outside of the field.

1.3.5 is my version.

Any one else have a solution that works?

This doesn't relate directly to the above problem but since I searched the forum for "tool tips" I'm putting my problem here. I have a serious tool tips problem as well.

I just created my first form and it looks OK except that my form displays the generic tool tip ("This is a tool tip") everywhere on the form - where ever you hover - except inside the field boxes and over the circular question marks where my own tool tips appear - the ones I created for each field! So, in a sense, I have two sets of tool tips appearing and they even overlap as you hover your mouse around the form.

I would have thought that once you create your first custom tool tip, it automatically turns-off the generic tool tip.

This is very ugly and quite disappointing. Strange that no other responses to this issue come up when searching the forum for "tool tips".
