From e-mail address issue

Hi,

We have a from that collects information specific to a customers inquiry, nothing fancy or out of the norm. Name, surname, dates, e-mail address and other contact details. The form is setup to store the data and to e-mail the details to an inquiry person. For most e-mails the form is working fine. When a users e-mail address has an . (fullstop) as part of the naming convention the first part of the address is lost in the e-mail sent to the inquiry person.

I see nobody monitors this forum from a CK from developer side... that's a pity as I use it in almost every site we develop. I had a browse around the forum and looked at almost every post and found a solution to the problem. See this forum post for the details on getting the from field as the users e-mail address and to update it with a fix for e-mail addresses that has a .(fullstop) in it.
