Submit redirect very slow

I have a very simple form with 5 fields and a submit button. I display some result text and have a redirect URL specified. The problem is when I click submit, it takes about 1 minute before the page gets redirected. I have watched the web server log while I hit submit and I see nothing until about 1 minute after where there is a log entry for the redirect.

If I click on the stop button in the browser only a few seconds after clicking submit, and then browse to the registrations page, I can see the data I just entered. So I know it's getting inserted into the database almost immediately. I also removed any min and max values in the fields per some posts I saw earlier.

One thing I do note- I never see my result text. It basically just redirects me back to the top of my website after the minute delay. hmm... Anyone have any ideas or a place I can look for debug info?
