Incorporating another module

Postby siki » Sun Jun 27, 2010 10:54 am

Hello,

First of all, thank you for a great component.

I don't know if possible, but I couldn't find an answer to my question. I would like to add a module in the form description. I don't know if this is something that can/ could be done. The module I would like to integrate would be google maps.

Thank you in advance,
Siki

I'm pretty sure this is easy. I did it the other way around; put the contact module in another page. This only works if you have the plugin "Content - Load Module" enabled.

Step one: Publish the GoogleMaps module to a non-existent position (e.g. goog). Note: If you need the GoogleMaps module to appear in another position, say for a maps page or something then simply make a copy of the GoogleMaps module and use that one.
Step two: Open the form in which you want the GoogleMaps module to appear.
Step three: Simple version: type {loadposition goog} where you want the GoogleMaps module to appear.
Somewhat advanced version: Make a table to float the module off the the right. Place your cursor in the document at the line where you want the box to appear. Create a 2 row, 2 column table, set alignment to right, and the width to whatever works for you (70%?). In the upper right hand cell add this text: {loadposition myform}

As I said it works the other way around, too. If you have a page and you want to add the CK form in a specific place that's not allowed with basic template positions.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I was reading your post and I think you might be able to help me fixing a problem.
I have a ckform called by a menu item (as in the picture). I have at the right side a link to a article that opens a googleMaps. It used to open the article in the content (left-side) but now with the ckform opening from a menuitem it doesn't work. It opens another template without information.

I try to call the form through a article not from a menu, but the plugin doesn't work. I tried {ckform ContatoForm} but it just show the string instead of the form.

So, I guess the chance is to fix the first option. Can you help me?

Tks.
