Multiple Checkboxes

Postby mjohnson » Wed May 26, 2010 3:01 pm

In a form of mine, I have a field as being checkboxes, but I have multiple options, and I want people to be able to check multiple checkboxes. I noticed that Checkboxes doesn't allow me to have multiple checkboxes in one field. Is there anyway to do this?

I realize using Select, is an option that allows multiple selection. However, I would prefer the look of the checkbox, and don't want to confuse users with having to press and hold ctrl/command down to select multiple options.

Thanks

Is it a problem to create as many fields as there are options?

I have the exact issue.

This is a very common need in designing form. I wonder why the creator of this form ignore it.

The "Select" option suppose to fill in this need. But it is not practical even if you have 20 choices for selection. Because it would than be displayed in 20 rows. Imagine if you have 2 or 3 such options in your form. It would became a very long and ugly looking form.

Have anyone found a solution to overcome this? Appreciate if you could share. Me very newbie too.

Hope the creator will take note of this feedback.

Overall I like CKForm very much.

Thank you.
