mod_ckforms Read Only Problem

I have a field marked "Read Only" that is working properly when the article is published in a page, but not when I use it in the module.

Details:
I have a "Date Submitted" field set to auto-populate with "date date" and marked as "Read Only". It works like it should in an article, but it's not read only when in a module.
