Postby ganic » Sun Nov 29, 2009 2:45 pm

Hi hope somebody can fill me in here.
I have changed the mandatary field to something different.
It just won't change at all?
joomla 1.5.15
com_ckforms_b5.zip,
plg_ckforms_b3.zip,
mod_ckforms_b2.zip,
ckforms4joomfish.zip

and i still have a challenge with the language, it won't display right in back-end
the admin panel showes like this and that is only in ckforms?
"Hjlp" schould look like this "Hjælp" in english it means HELP :?

Hi,

I know your English isn't great but can you describe a little more what do you mean by:

"I have changed the mandatary field to something different.
It just won't change at all?"

If i go to the files for editing the Reuired text, I can write what ever I whant, but it do not change on the site! the other day I manage to ad a line i com_ckform.php file and suddenly the required text changed. the funny thing was that the translatet required text was a text that did't exist in any CK form file.
The are still meny challenges in making ckforms usefull and I hope that it will be better in the future. ;)

ok i think i understand you better now. i had this same problem when i first started to use ckforms.

if you use the plugin then you can change the Required text by editing the ckforms.php found in plugins/content in your joomla installation.

i suspect it may be the same if you use the component or module to display the form so you'll have to edit those files. i use the plugin so i cannot tell you exactly which files to edit if you use the component or module.
